This painting was inspired by aerial photos of the earth as well as photos of space. For me the combination of the two reminded me of the body dancing; bones, joints, fluidity of movement like water, moving through space in moments of shadowing feelings contrasted with lighting up in ecstatic flow and pleasant bursts of adrenaline. The light of awareness experiences only what it shines upon, and the rest is unknown potential for another dance, another relationship, another moment of curiosity in time and space.
